Board of Directors

As the governing body of the school, the Board of Directors is ultimately responsible for the long-term welfare and viability of the school. It determines school policies, sets fees, and, through its committees, insures the quality of education and Jewish life of all Akiva students.

The Board of Directors consists of fifteen members elected for a two year term. Elections to fill spaces of retiring board members are held each year during the month of May.

Anyone interested in serving on the Board of Directors must so indicate to the nominating committee by submitting a letter of nomination at the appropriate time.
