Tzedakah Week at Akiva
For Tzedakah Week at Akiva, Our school came together to focus on the value of helping others in need. Through learning, reflection, and activities across every grade, students explore how giving can make a real difference in people’s lives. For example, Grade 6 made cookies for Maison Shalom, Grade 3 made tzedakah boxes and collected tzedakah. Grade 2 and Kindergarten learned about tzedakah and all money collect was given to Esther’s Angels, an organization that makes food for Shabbat for the elderly and families in need.
