The 8th Akiva Annual Common Read – Only at Akiva
As part of the Akiva Common Read program, Akiva students from kindergarten to grade 6 explore together a literary work through storytelling, art, song, sharing and discussion. This year, Akiva School read "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

Akiva has a visit from author M. Faure
Grade 1 classes had a special treat when author Michel Faure stopped by to read them his book "Mr. Zuko Takes Flight" in both French and English. Every student went home with a signed copy of the book and inspiration to explore creative writing!
