Akiva School community collected non-perishables for the flood victims in Quebec. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our boxes were overflowing, and we were able to donate a huge amount of non-perishable food to the St. Anne-de –Bellevue food bank. Thank you to the many who volunteered their time to help with the collection and sorting of the food. And special appreciation to Brian Harris for donating a truck and serving as its driver in order to transport the food to the West Island, and to Heather Michelin for overseeing this project.
