Every year, the Kindergarten classes organize a session where our Kindergarten students bring their favourite teddy bear or stuffed toy to the “Teddy Bear Clinic”. The clinic consists of different stations run by Akiva parents who work in the medical field and explain to students a little about their particular area of specialty. Our students get some hands-on learning about what it means to be a health practitioner, work in the medical field and help others in need. This year, for example, we had stations on radiology, urology, respirology, getting check-ups, dentistry and plastic surgery! Our kindergarten students get so excited about learning about health sciences.
