Together we remember and celebrate our past, present, and future
This week was a busy week of remembrance, celebration, and community at Akiva School as we commemorated Yom Ha-Zikkaron and Yom Ha-Atzma’ut. Parents joined our Yom Ha-Zikkaron assembly for grades 4 to 6 where we remembered the fallen soldiers and victims of terror through prayer and song. Our Yom Ha-Atzma’ut celebration brought our community together at our school assembly and Israel rally where we expressed our love of and commitment to Israel now and forever.
