Akiva students and their parents came together on Wednesday evening for a creative evening of art. Under the guidance of local artist Sheila Nemtin Levine, students and parents created pieces of art to be included as part of a collaborative community display done by Montreal Jewish community members of all ages, recognizing disability inclusion in community. Akiva also partnered with CHW (Canadian Hadassah -WIZO organization) for the Art Fair to donate beautiful chamsa art created by students to be used in Hadassah homes in Israel.
