The halls are alive with the sound of music…
Akiva grade 2 students participated in a very special music program where they learned about many different aspects of music. The program included learning about percussion, keyboards, guitar and vocals as well as how to mix music on a music table with all sorts of interesting effects. Guest speakers included music band Lakes of Canada, musician Sam Paige Schwartz, Shaar Hashomayim Cantor Gideon Zelermyer and DJ Yo-C (Yossi Ohana). Kol Hakavod to Akiva teacher Emily Paden and everyone involved in this amazing initiative for our kids.
