Hebrew Language Week
This week Akiva celebrated our annual Hebrew Language Week, which coincides with the birth month of Eliezer Ben Yehuda, a pioneer in the revival of the Hebrew language. Our students learnt about Datya Ben Dor, an Israeli author, screenwriter, playwright, poet, and composer. Her works have been published in books ,television programs, theater, and are taught in the educational system and academia. The week was filled with special lessons, classic songs, fun activities with the whole Shinshinim team and a cozy PJ day with hot cocoa.
