In honour of Akiva’s 50th anniversary, the evening showcased an incredible exhibit of over two dozen life-sized innovative projects in English, French and Hebrew along the thematic timeline: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. All of our students, from kindergarten to grade 6, worked diligently on their respective projects and were so excited to guide their families through the exhibition to see their work. As envisioned by Akiva’s founder Rabbi Hartman z’l fifty years ago, innovation and creativity have always been at the core of Akiva’s educational philosophy. Learning that is engaging, hands-on and purposeful is our focus and this year’s Akiva Academic Fair was a shining of example of how our students’ explore, grow and challenge themselves every day at Akiva School.
