Mazel Tov to our Akiva students who did so well in the McEntyre Writing Competition 2016.

The Westmount sponsored creative writing competition had a record-breaking number of entries this year with over 1600 applications. Once again, Akiva students rose to the top in the elementary school level with Callie Gelber placing 1^st in the Grade One category, Rachel Gameroff placing 2^nd in the Grade 2 category, Nora-Jin Sokoloff placing 2^nd in the Grade 5 category and Maya Akerman placing 2^nd in the Grade 6 category.  Great job by all!
