In this week’s Parsha, Jacob gives his son Joseph with the wondrous striped coat. This gift caused an immense amount of jealousy between Joseph’s other brothers — so much so, that at the end of this story, Jacob’s other sons sell Joseph into slavery. For our Torah recipe this week, we will be making our own coat of many colors. But don’t worry — let’s plan to make enough so that everyone has one, no one gets jealous!

Ingredients:

There are two ways we made this Torah Treat at home. For both, you will need
1 1/2 graham crackers and a “coat” of frosting or marshmallow fluff as the glue.
Option 1: rainbow colored jelly beans
Option 2: rainbow colored belts/ strips
Directions:
1. Use one whole graham cracker for the body of the coat
2. Break the other half into two halves for the sleeves
3. Spread frosting (or marshmallow fluff) onto the graham crackers (also you can use it as a “glue” to keep the arms connected to the body)
4. Decorate with your candy of choice.

Enjoy!
